Man Kills Nursing Assistant at Philly Hospital, Wounds 2 Officers in Shootout
According to the commissioner, arriving officers encountered the male suspect who then began shooting at them. Four of the officers returned fire. Two officers were wounded.

Charges Reveal MN Clinic Shooting Suspect Set Off Bombs During Attack
Investigators say Ulrich, 67, of Buffalo, set off two homemade bombs in the clinic and shot five people, leaving four seriously injured and one dead. The violence occurred in the span of about 6 minutes before officers arrived and found him lying face down amid the destruction.

According to a police report, Gregory Paul Ulrich threatened to carry out a mass shooting at the clinic in October 2018, with a doctor telling investigators that Ulrich had talked about “shooting, blowing things up, and practicing different scenarios of how to get revenge.”

The shooter reportedly fired at police, and the officer was shot twice. He was reportedly hit in the leg and abdomen. Police returned fire and killed the shooter.
