Fayette County, Georgia, sheriff’s deputies seized over 7.2 kilos of cocaine, valued at $700,000, during a recent traffic stop, reported a department Facebook post.
The K-9 handler deployed his K-9 partner, Jäger, at a traffic stop. During the stop, Jäger alerted to drugs outside the vehicle. The K-9 team then searched the vehicle and found six packages of cocaine and $5,530 in cash, according to the department.
“As you can probably tell by the smile on his face, Jäger loves helping make Fayette County a safer place,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
Fayette County officials did not share if any arrests were made.
