An officer with the Millvale (PA) Police Department assisted in saving the life of a newborn baby boy at a local gas station on Mother's Day.

According to WSOC-TV, police were called when a 33-year-old woman began to give birth to the boy at the gas station.

The boy was not breathing, so Officer Zachary Potetz began performing CPR until paramedics arrived. The child began breathing in the ambulance while being transported to a nearby hospital.

The boy is expected to be okay despite not breathing for nearly five minutes because he was still attached to the mother's umbilical cord.
